The Safeguarding Company is Nominated For Company Of The Year*
The BETT Awards are a celebration of the inspiring creativity and innovation that can be found throughout technology for education and we’re delighted to be recognised with this facet of our company.
“This nomination comes at a fantastic time after the re-branding of the company that occurred in September of 2021,” said Martin Baker CEO at the Safeguarding Company. “We are thrilled to be recognised for our total safeguarding approach and our range of solutions that prevent, reduce and eliminate abuse, harm, and neglect; while empowering organisations of all types and sizes to protect the wellbeing, health, and human rights of the children, young people or adults in their care.”
The education sector is at the forefront of implementing Safeguarding best practice and something that organisations in other sectors can reference when they tackle this fundamentally important issue. It is vital that all organisations that work with children are reporting and recording any and all levels of safeguarding issues they encounter.
Eventually, we hope that all locations in which children are present will be reporting and recording safeguarding concerns from classrooms and sports fields, to churches, housing associations, community groups and charities.
At The Safeguarding Company, we have developed a total safeguarding approach suitable for all types of organisations. Our software solutions support you through every step of your total safeguarding journey. Our solutions include MyConcern for recording and managing safeguarding and pastoral concerns, Clarity for multi-establishment safeguarding and reporting, Confide for managing allegations against adults working in your organisation and low-level concerns, Sentry for safer recruitment and Mentor for safeguarding training, policies and self-assessment tools.
The awards ceremony will take place on the 23rd of March 2022, and we wish all other finalists the best of luck.
ABOUT THE SAFEGUARDING COMPANY
The Safeguarding Company provides software and training solutions that support coaches, staff and volunteers in implementing Safeguarding practices in sports organisations. These practices increase the well-being of young players and athletes by reducing the impact of social, emotional and mental health challenges, trauma, abuse and other concerns. Effective Safeguarding practice enables sports organisation leaders to identify problems before they arise, deal with concerns more effectively and build a network of support that protects vulnerable children and adults.
MyConcern is the software tool that coaches, staff and volunteers use to securely record wellbeing concerns about students. With Safeguarding, administrators can holistically and collaboratively support a student’s wellbeing and take preventative action as needed.
