Creativity and creative thinking helps to prepare children for a world that is rapidly evolving and changing. When primary school children today enter the workplaces of tomorrow, they will face novel and complex challenges that will need creative thinkers to solve. In this talk we explore approaches to creative practice in the classroom through the work of The Institute of Imagination and the Head Teacher of one of their partner schools William Ford Junior School. The talk will Investigate creative pedagogy, with imagination at its heart and journey through creative practice with The Institute of Imagination's thematic content. Finally it will explore how creativity can influence practice across the wider school and have longer transformation in a school.
