Beverly is responsible for the management and delivery of the Computing At School CAS community of practice programme as part of the National Centre for Computing Education. She is also an author, education consultant, Digital Poverty Alliance Ambassador, CAS Board member and a member of the BETT advisory group. She has setup the Artificial Intelligence in Schools programme aimed at providing free teaching resources on AI for key stage 3 teachers. She is the author of a K-12 curriculum on AI and the author of two published books, Computer Science Teacher - an insight into the Computing classroom (2017) and her most recent book – The Digital Adventures of Ava and Chip - Smart City (2021) a children’s book, created to help young readers gain an understanding of technology, the ways in which it is transforming our society, and how we interact with this emerging world.
