Assessment AI

As teachers and senior leaders, we all understand the benefits of effective formative assessment. It enables us to identify gaps in student knowledge and thus to tailor on-going learning to meet personalised needs. However, the process can be time-consuming and labour intensive, which can lead to opportunities being missed in today’s busy classrooms.

This panel discussion will explore ways in which technologies such as AI, can help deliver timely, personalised formative assessment insights. We’ll explore how this can also be used to enhance students’ own assessment literacy, in other words, their own understanding of what good looks like. With the overall aim of facilitating a better, more transparent understanding of each student’s capabilities, helping to boost overall performance.
