This brand-new session aims to replicate a multi-sensory lesson from the outstanding Pioneer School in this immersive experience for learners with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning disability (PMLD) using Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as the theme.

Specialist teachers from the Pioneer School will engage students through immersive storytelling experiences that cater to diverse learning styles. They will show how to utilise technology to enhance sensory engagement and support students' communication, cognitive development, and overall learning.

The session will be narrated throughout by Joanne Allain, Principal of The Pioneer School. It will end with a panel discussion with the teachers exploring how they use technology to meet the needs of all learners in their care.
