Design4SDGs UK Design Challenge Finals
The competition, open to UK students aged 9-14, was created to promote big thinking and innovative ideas on a large scale, providing solutions for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and supporting schools with their sustainability and climate action journey set out by the Department of Education.
Launched from BETT HQ in June 2024, schools will be responding to challenges that relate to SDG3, SDG4, SDG5, SDG11, SDG12 and SDG13, with semi-finals taking place at Barrowford Primary School in the north, and Denbigh High School in the south, with the Finals taking place in the main arena at BETT 2025 on 22nd January!
With new aspects introduced this year, including a literacy challenge, together with an opening performance by students, this will be one of the largest showcases of student voice and ideas in the UK. This event is aimed at edtech companies, and schools that have a focus on sustainability and making a difference, and is not to be missed.
