Discover how your students can use micro:bits to develop Early Warning Systems that help tackle the climate crisis. Micro:bits are versatile devices that can be used to develop endless and diverse real-world computing systems. The Coding for Climate Action scheme of work, developed by Digit<all> and Amazon Future Engineer, helps students in building different Early Warning Systems using micro:bits, while also aligning with the UK’s national computing curriculum. This hands-on session will demonstrate the different systems students can create with micro:bits and offer practical steps for implementing this scheme of work in your classroom.
