Julia has worked within the education industry for over 30 years, first as a marketing specialist within education publishers and EdTech companies, then as a marketing consultant and for the last 4 years with BESA where she is responsible for operational issues, marketing and international development work. Julia also works to assist UK suppliers establish their businesses overseas, is a regular speaker at conferences and Chair of the Bett Awards judging panel. She has recently completed her tenure as Vice Chair of Governors at a London secondary school.
