John is Director of Digital Strategy at Stanground Academy, Peterborough. He is passionate about the use of technology in the education setting and harnessing its power. John has been MIEE for three years and has worked to become an MIEE Master Trainer, a Microsoft Office Specialist Master and successfully becoming a Microsoft Certified Educator. John's focus has been around the use of the Power Apps platform, from using Power BI to bring data analysis to the fingertips of the user, to Power Automate being used to reduce workload. John has trained staff from across the Greenwood Academies Trust to empower them in their use of EdTech. A strong belief for John, is that all staff and students can and should benefit from the technology available, extending training sessions through to non-teaching staff to ensure they are fully supported in using the IT tools available.
