I have worked in Education for over 30 years, initially supporting schools as part of an LA and then within school establishments. I have worked at The Radcliffe School for the last 19 years and have seen significant change during this time, both nationally and locally. I have a wide range of experience within the traditional Business Manager remit including Finance, Site, Health and Safety, ICT and service management. As the school timetabler and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team my role has allowed me to branch out into areas that perhaps a Business Manager wouldn't normally be involved in. This has allowed me to get a wide overview and knowledge of school life, which in turn helps me to support the development of the school.
